Signal Solutions is a TV aerial and satellite business run by Nick, covering Swansea and the surrounding areas. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Signal Solutions.

What information we collect
When you send an enquiry through our website
Our contact form asks for your name, phone number, postcode, the service you need and a description of the problem. Name, phone number and service are required so we can get back to you. Postcode and description are optional.
When you call, text, WhatsApp or email us
We keep your phone number, email address and anything you tell us or send us, such as photos of your aerial, so we can give you advice and a quote.
When you become a customer
If we carry out work for you, we keep your name, address, contact details, details of the work we did, what you paid and any warranty information.
When you use our website
If you agree to cookies, we use Google Tag Manager and related Google tools to understand how people find and use our website and to measure our Google Ads. These tools may collect information such as your device type, browser, approximate location, the pages you visit and whether you contacted us. See Cookies below.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and give you advice or a quote
- To arrange appointments and carry out the work you ask for
- To send invoices and keep records of payments
- To honour warranties and deal with any follow-up or complaint
- To keep financial records we are required to keep by law

Who we share your information with
We only share your information with companies that help us run the business, and only as much as they need:
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co): delivers enquiries from our website form to our email inbox.
- Google: provides our email (Gmail), Google Tag Manager and Google Ads.
- WhatsApp (Meta): if you choose to message us on WhatsApp.
- Our website hosting provider: stores and serves this website.
- An accountant or HMRC: where needed for tax and accounting.
We may also share information if the law requires us to.
Some of these providers may store or process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards approved under UK data protection law to protect it.
How long we keep your information
- Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Customer and job records: up to 6 years after the work, to meet tax rules and to deal with any warranty or follow-up.
- Website analytics data: kept by Google for the period set in our Google account settings.
Your rights

- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- ask us to delete your information
